Action in the District Court of Chippewa County for personal injuries and property damage resulting from a collision between plaintiffs auto and one driven by one Raymond H. Martinson, who was allegedly intoxicated as the result of the unlawful sale of intoxicating liquor to him by defendant village. The case was tried before Sam G. Gandrud, Judge, and a jury, which returned a verdict for plaintiff for $3,000. Defendant appealed from an order denying its motion for judgment or a new trial, and plaintiff appealed from an order denying his motion for a new trial on the issue of damages only.
